Whitney Museum

The first photo featured here is by Edward Hopper. It is not photography but it still appealed to me. This work says a lot. I see a woman who just simply, wanted to walk around naked. It could mean anything though. The second photo by Hopper reminds me of what goes on with people behind scenes. I think it is genius to convey such an innocent/generic house, with such a suspicious scene. The third Photo by DiCorcia makes me feel really good for some reason. I feel as if the man photographed just came back from a party, and is zoning out thinking about what went on. The fact that it was taken in 1994 is shocking to me. That is a year after I was born. To think that gas was so cheap, only 20 years ago.
