My photo collage is meant to give the onlooker an experience of this particular view taken from a balcony located on 34th street. Although it is not possible to get a 360 degree view from such a position, the idea was to capture as wide and as far out as possible (this involved much leaning and re-positioning). The image indicates a lot of movement with the cars on the FDR and the ripples and soft waves of the East river. The tall buildings are a part of Long Island City (Queens) while on the far right it is Brooklyn. Also on both ends are the Queensboro bridge and the Williamsburg bridge, slightly hard to see. In my first version I was missing the bottom three images of FDR, later added by leaning out of the balcony and taking new ones.
