General Assembly is an educational institution that offers programing, coding, over all digital skills. They launched their business in 2011 and now there are 14 campuses across the world.

They think coding is the essential skill for designers to be professional and up-a-notch designer. When the good visual design is applied to web design, the final outcome would be successful if the designer knows coding which is how to apply design to web. But if the designer do not know coding it would fail.

Most of course takers are designer, art director, entrepreneur, and students. The opportunity at General Assembly is to get connection with this good community for finding job and freelance project. With GA community and alumni, the world wide campuses also helps when you wish to broaden business in another country.

All walls in classroom is covered with white board and the hall way wall is black board. They help design thinking. The teachers and classmates are very active and interactive. Also an alumni from Parsons coordinates their courses.
